University Books Online recently relocated their company headquarters with the purchase of 40 Fairfield Place in West Caldwell.  Brian Wilson of Resource Realty in Parsippany brokered the deal, moving the company from Union County to Essex County.  At just under 21,000 SF, the new building at Fairfield Place is twice the size of their Union County location.

“It’s great to represent a company like University Books Online that is growing and doing so well in this type of market and economy”, said Wilson.  “The biggest challenge was finding the right free-standing building in the 15,000 – 25,000 SF range.  Even in a user driven market, there is a shortage of quality buildings available for purchase.  This is a tremendous building that suits the company’s operation perfectly.  University Books is completing several improvements and plans to move in by mid-November,” he adds.

Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey has been retained as the Exclusive Leasing Agent to represent approximately 7,700 SF of space in the building.  The unit features 2,000 amps of power, 16’ ceilings, a 4/1,000 SF parking ratio, 1 drive-in door and clear span column spacing.
